I''m curious what the various training organizations limit their newly certified divers to.  PADI had a exhortation to stay 60'' or less but , I do not believe there was any limit placed on you after you had a few dives in.  YMCA has a 60'' limit until you have taken Scuba 2, then the limit is 100''. IANTD Open Water limit is 70''.

Has anyone compiled this info?  How the heck would a Charter Operator police who can dive what?  And if he dosen''t and someone dies there is the liability issue.
